BRAND MANAGER – Job Role / Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This position is a part of Weitnauer Türkiye Marketing Team, located in Istanbul. It drives local marketing strategies to ensure sustainable, profitable growth of assigned brands.

The Impact

This position defines the brand strategy and executes all marketing actions for Turkey and Northern Cyprus markets.

Brand manager is responsible of 

  • Preparing and executing annual and long term marketing strategies and marketing plans for assigned brands/categories based on brands’ global and local ambitions
  • Preparing the launch and re-launch plans for assingned brands / SKUs
  • Planning and execution of all brand communication and media activity across all channels, including digital and on-site communication, in close communication and coordination with the external parties and internal teams 
  • managing external agencies for flawless implementation of the marketing plans, developing the materials and executing the action points in a timely manner
  • leading the conversation with Trade Marketing & Sales teams to develop consumer promotion programs to achieve the sales and brand targets
  • continuously measuring the brands’ performance by tracking KPIs (depletion/shipment trends, distribution numbers, Nielsen and brand research, etc.), trends and recommending action plans
  • monthly reporting to the Weitnauer Türkiye and brands’ external partners
  • managing local marketing budget

Education & Experience

  • University  degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Fluency in English including excellent communication and writing is a must
  • Min. 7 Years of experience in a Marketing role within wine&spirits, FMCG or lifestyle brands
